WHISPERS & CRIES
at Kreativfabrik Wiesbaden 24-2-23
Sanem Kalfa (cello, vocals, electronics), Sofia Borges (percussion, electronics, field recordings), Henning Bolte (live art work projection)
This were two fully improvised sets. There were only two prior decisions: that we would start with an already finished art work of mine as point of departure and that we should work with paper percussion in the second set. Sofia is such a good and complete percussionist, I was completely blown (away)! Sanem is a musical angel flying into areas of unknown shimmering shades and a master of ‘integrating’ surrounding sound and noise in natural, organic way. I feel blessed to work with these two maîtres musical and for sure we want and will continue.
