Seems a big year for adventurous Soundscapes from the North: Erik Honore’s extreme subtle debut on Hubro, Arve’s fine work with strings on Rune Grammofon, Hakon Stene’s richly textured minimalism, Arild Andersen’s voyage back to his 70’s roots, Jenny Hval and Susanna inspired by underground film maker Maya Deren, mlrten Qvenild aka Space Monkey and and and… A new album with Sidsel Endresen as front woman would be the ice on the Norwegian cake!
