Borusan, which creates various projects to improve the classical music in Turkey, established the Borusan Music House in Istiklal Street in 2009.
While becoming a new meeting point for art enthusiasts in Beyoglu, The Borusan Music House helps the Borusan Culture Arts to reach wider masses with different disciplines of art.The Borusan Music House provides a seasonal program from October to May. Artistic activities, music courses, classical, jazz, world music and modern dance performances took place in the venue. The Music House is holding a significant role as providing venue for chamber music concerts as well as contemporary art exhibitions.
The Music House also provides a different and experimental reunion of the music and the visual arts with its contemporary art pieces. It visualizes the multi-disciplinary dialogue with art works made exclusively for The Music House by various international contemporary artists.
The Borusan Music House is highly acclaimed for its exhibitions. The art works of 13 young artists of the contemporary art workshop ArtCenter / Istanbul were exhibited under the name of “Mind Models: The First Show”. The art enthusiasts had a chance to see the “Cosmic Latte” curated by Suzanne Egeran, which holds more than 400 art pieces of The Borusan Art Collection in 2010. Also, another exhibition “Matter-Light” was open for visitors in 2010.
The Borusan Music House is located in a historical building facing the Borusan Culture Arts, on Istiklal Street, the center of culture and arts in Istanbul. After a renovation, the building welcomes the visitors with an exclusive design where the history meets the technology.

Praise for Eivind Aarset’s DREAM LOGIC by the ubiquitious John Kelman: „The Norwegian guitarist has, of course, a string of exceptional albums on Jazzland, but for this ECM debut (he’s recorded as a guest on many record for the label, for artists including Arild Andersen, Andy Sheppard, Jon Hassell) he’s done something very different – largely a solo guitar record, but with the occasional sonic help from live sampler/co-producer Jan Bang. But, of course, a solo guitar record from Aarset ain’t your typical solo record; unique sound worlds are uncovered as he layers a variety of textures to create an album of dark beauty that stands alone in Aarset’s discography, yet couldn’t have been made by anyone but Aarset.“
