Bought new shoes some days ago. Had to choose between two colours: brown and yellow. Same old blues of choosing shoes. Took the brown ones. Coming in from a walk right now, looking at them, considering: „Well, they´re fine. Maybe should buy the yellow pair as well – but no, that´s greedy, this will never end …“
Once read a story about Miles Davis, in the context of daily racism and discrimination. Miles, driving his Ferrari, was stopped by cops. „Is this your car, Mister?“ Black men driving such cars must have been suspicious in the eye of the law. „Yes, Sir, shure!“, Davis relied. „Got two of them: a black one and a yellow one. Like them both. This is the yellow one.“
Think, i´ll also buy a second pair.
