Rebel musics

Where are the rebel musicians, die angesichts des Terroralerts in Paris und in Brüssel und inzwischen weltweit Politik und Musik verbinden? Auf SOUL REBEL mobilisierte uns damals Bob Marley: „See morning sun / on the hillside / if you are not living good / travel wide …“. Frank Zappa philosophierte: „Freedom / freedom / kindly loving / you’ll be absolutely free /only if you want to be …“. Der Jazzer aus der Bronx, William Parker: „I say there is no limit to what we can do for each other as human beings …“.

Escucha, yo vengo a cantar
Por aquellos que cayeron.
No digo nombre ni seña,
Sólo digo compañeros.

Y canto a los otros,
A los que están vivos
Y ponen la mira
Sobre el enemigo.

Ya no hay más secreto,
i canto es del viento,
yo elijo que sea
Todo movimiento.

No digo nombre ni seña,
Sólo digo compañeros.
Nada nos queda y hay sólo
Una cosa que perder.

Perder la pacienca
Y sólo encontrarla
En la punteria,
camarada.
