Is it really noiseless – in action? Did you listen to the silence? I have a typewriter in the cellar, just in case. Is typewriting in fashion over there? I knew a man aged 27 who was sick of his notebook and all the stuff around and began writing his novel with a fountain pen and then with a typewriter. Handwriting is very important, I practise it every day.

This is an old typewriter from another era. To call it noiseless was a promotional thing. Maybe it was, in those old days,‘ „the most beautiful sound next to silence“.
