The title of my fave record of the lyrical experimentalists. A collection of early works will be released on June, 1th. Brian Eno has chosen eccentric and melodic Icelanders Múm for Punkt 2012. Múm was formed in 1997, their music is characterized by soft vocals, electronic glitch beats and effects, and a variety of traditional and unconventional instruments. Brian Eno is artistic director of Punkt 2012 (6-8 September).
He has also chosen the British group S.C.U.M, which may be one of the most boring acts i have heared since the early 30′s of the last century. But, well, there will be a bunch of excellent artists, too, so never mind. Anyone who can reveal the maybe hidden qualities of S.C.U.M to me, please do so!
